I know I'm am going to take some heat for this post. People love their entertainment centers!  I was consulting with a home seller recently.  She was shocked when I suggested that her entertainment center be removed.  Traditional entertainment centers literally eat square footage.  We are selling square footage.  Rooms appear much larger with the 'Beast' G-O-N-E.  Entertainment centers are a relic from the bubble-back TV.  With flat screens, the Beast is unnecessary.

"What am I supposed to do with it?" the Seller snarled (really).

I told her, "If you want it in your next house, put it in storage.  Store it, sell it, or donate it but get it out of your house.  Storage is a better solution than having your small family room appear even smaller. Your entertainment center occupies most of the wall and sticks three feet out into the room."

"So what am I supposed to do with the TV?"
